Happy Gut, Happy Life

Let's talk about the gut

In the last few decades, there have been big and rapid changes in the way human beings live and eat, which have had a detrimental impact on the health of our digestive systems, and in turn, our wellbeing.
Over half of adults globally report to have gut health difficulties and struggle to find solutions. We are here to help!

The ‘Gut’ refers to the gastrointestinal track. It starts at the mouth and compromises of all organs in the digestive system, including the oesophagus, stomach, and the small and large intestines.

The gut is a highly intelligent system, continuously working to keep you alive and healthy. It absorbs energy and nutrients from the food you eat to support vital body functions.

The gut is responsible for your entire digestion process, plays a major role in the development and upkeep of your immune system and is also closely connected to your mood and brain health.

If something is off in your gut, it can affect every other system in your body, having a negative impact on your wellbeing. Some signs of an imbalanced gut include fatigue, indigestion, inflammation, hormone imbalances, low immunity and skin problems.
This is the name given to the microbiome that lives inside you gut, made up of a galaxy of microorganisms across hundreds of different strains. A healthy gut flora is one which has a high diversity and population of friendly microorganisms.

‘Probiotics’ is the name given to the friendly microorganisms present in your gut flora. Regular consumption of probiotics helps keep your gut flora strong and healthy.
